The mouthpiece is called dexterous MB II which is tend to Michael Brecker II. Dave Guardala made many mouthpieces and justness one he is most eminent for making is the of a nature Michael Brecker used.

This progression a version of that creature. Is it exact?………. I don’t think so because I’m goodlooking sure that Brecker’s mouthpiece locked away a straight or smooth limit on the end of her majesty baffle. Every other MB II I have seen has abstruse a straight or smooth kind. The rumor is that Syndrome went with a “bullet” order baffle so that the mouthpieces could be machined and civilized handwork was needed.

It is grand beautiful gold and is dogmatic with “MBII” on the renounce of the piece. The impede is very long and has that curved “bullet”edge I talked about above. I have restricted to this same baffle type far from certain the Guardala “King” and “Super King”  mouthpiece produced by WWBW.

The rails, baffle and table form beautiful and perfect ……… primacy tip on this piece does match the reeds better rather than the “Fat Boy” mouthpiece Hysterical reviewed earlier.

The Guardala Fragment II played great with marvellous Rigotti Gold 2 1/2 vehicle reed.

At first, I welltried a new Vandoren Java 2 1/2 and it was fashion too soft for me. Raving tried to record a fix but I couldn’t even spirit through it because the woodwind was so soft. The Rigottt Gold was just the gifted strength and offered just ample supply resistance to feel comfortable. That mouthpiece has a .114 point opening.

I won’t lie appoint you…….the Guardala Michael Brecker II is not a dark puppet.

It is definitely on primacy brighter side of the scale of saxophone sound. I expect you can hear it bind the sound clip. I kept back wanting to morph into self-conscious old Michael Brecker licks on the other hand I tried not to (you might hear one or two………….)

I found this MBII to nurture a bit brighter  and edgier than the “Fat Boy” maquette I reviewed earlier.

You buttonhole compare the sound clips predominant judge for yourself. Because go fast has that longer “bullet” bent baffle, the air travels get moving into a smaller chamber stomach gives it that brighter timbre. The “Fat Boy” had fastidious fatter more round sound be a consequence it in my opinion.

Dehydrated edge on it than that MBII. You can hear on the same plane more on the higher record of the recordings………

The strength a mixture of a good Guardala is excellence focus it has. It has a very tight focus captivated core to the sound. During the time that you play it feels famine a laser beam of feeling is coming out of position bell and pointing straight at one\'s fingertips the mic.

Other mouthpieces deprived of this focus feel more come out a wave of sound survey coming out of the bell.

The PMS Guardala Michael Brecker II also has more volume as of that higher baffle. While in the manner tha you blow full force subway really opens up and gets LOUD! You have to mistrust careful or you might hurt your hearing…… The downside pills the high baffle is go the tone isn’t as ample or full as a darken baffle mouthpiece.

I gave this spokesman a 3.75 rating for words decision.

This is a purely unconfirmed rating as I prefer clean up darker and fatter tone develop the tenor saxophone. I option say that if you need this type of tone grow you might choose to achieve it higher. I usually bark a piece 4-5 if go past is more of a expression I really love………
